Lists
Lists are meant to bundle different types of links together for one topic, rather than directly categorize them.
Understanding Lists vs Tags
For example:
- The
open-sourcetag categorizes all links of open source projects - The
macostag categorizes all links for macOS apps - A
Open Source macOS Appslist may contain links to your favorite open source macOS applications
While both tags (open-source and macos) are used, they are not directly related. The list bundles them together.
Lists Overview
The list overview provides a list of all lists with:
- Name
- Description
- Link count
Lists Details
The list detail page provides a quick overview of the links added for a particular list, as an alternative to the advanced search.
The table containing the assigned links can be sorted by clicking the sorting symbol in the header row.
Adding Lists
Lists can be added in two ways:
-
Through the menu: Using the dedicated form accessible from the menu
- Provides an additional option for making a list private
- Private lists are displayed only to you
-
Directly in the link add form: While adding a new link
Important: List titles cannot contain commas.
